Meet Laurie!
DarienMoms: Where are you from originally and how long have you lived in Darien?
Laurie: I grew up in an IBM family which means, “I’ve been moved” a lot. We lived in Washington DC, New York, Pennsylvania, in and out of Connecticut several times, California and when I was very young, France and Germany. The longest I have lived anywhere is in Darien after I got married. We settled in Darien in 1992, moved to San Francisco in 1998 and back to Darien 2004. All together, we have lived in Darien for 20 years and counting….
